Johnston County Building Industry Association Integrated Media Strategies has partnered with the Johnston County Building Industry Association for two years, helping to raise the visibility of the organization and its members.  We started by redoing the website and providing training to staff on how to use it effectively, populate the member directory with information from members and creating a useful database of content.  This means that when a visitor comes to the site to find a reputable builder, but who doesn't use 'builder speak', they will be able to find the information that they need.

On a limited budget, we then worked with the association to effectively connect the site to Google analytics and begin the process of building content relevant to stakeholders, the local community, members, and other interested audiences.   We provided seminars through the association to members on content marketing so that they could tap into the digital resources available to them through the association.

Nationally, community college budgets are tight.  They are being called upon to do more with less. Most community colleges have never been particularly well-resourced by comparison to universities. One place where colleges may be able to get more bang for their buck is in how they are producing or procuring video. Video is an expensive medium and video services departments are often hard-pressed keeping up with the multiple demands they face.

Fayetteville Technical Community College in North Carolina contracted Integrated Media Strategies to review operations. The brief was to produce a report that looked at several key areas, including:

Integrated Media Strategies has formed a strategic partnership with Malteez, a South African digital agency.  The partnership will provide clients in Africa seeking access to the American market and wanting a digital agency that is African and at the same time, is well-established in the US market. To paraphrase Winston Churchill, English is what divides the English-speaking world and the United States.  Companies seeking to do well in the U.S. must be capable of adapting to the idiosyncrasies of a country made up states - each with their own laws and cultures - and a national, federally-governed marketplace.  This is even more true when seeking entry into regulated sectors such as finance or pharmaceuticals.

The partnership allows for Malteez and Integrated Media Strategies to connect with clients as Africans, yet function effectively in guiding those clients to success in the US marketplace.  Integrated Media Strategies has a deep contact list of people and organizations with which it can partner and recommend, making for a seamless transition for African-based companies.  With its experience in working on projects with state government, higher education, the biopharmaceutical industry sector, advanced manufacturing, other regulated sectors, numerous startups, small business and on federally-funded projects in the the U.S. and in Canada, it can help make entry to the US market as painless as possible.

Career Development Solutions website

Getting a job in the current economic climate is difficult and many people are poorly prepared for searching for a job, putting together a resume, the process of submitting resumes, and putting your best foot forward in the event of an interview. Integrated Media Strategies recently turned over a new website to a group who will be actively engaged in helping people with this process.  The site, called Career Development Solutions, uses one of the new Top Level Domains or TLDs dot.solutions for the Fish Out Of Water group.

The group, headed by Vanessa Cogdell, are all professionals with a long history of working with people being reskilled and in the area of career counselling, career coaching and related expertise.  The site will provide a way for interested people who are either interested in preparing for a career shift or those searching for work to get the help they need to be competitive in a competitive job marketplace.

Integrated Media Strategies has been working with the African Leadership Institute to integrate its digital infrastructure and systematically improve its online visibility.

The institute was created to change the continent by creating and supporting a new generation of young, visionary, ethical, strategic leaders across Africa. Their candidates are from all spheres of society and every country. AFLI offers a powerful learning experience run in partnership with Oxford University. Only 20-25 carefully chosen candidates, nominated from across Africa, are selected each year.  Among their alumni are a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, a candidate for President, technology leaders and other high-calibre leaders. What was needed was a way to enable all the alumni to better support each other.

Integrated Media Strategies was hired to build a new website for the small business startup, Modell Testing. The company is a veteran-owned, DOT-compliant drug and alcohol testing facility. It provides DOT compliant 5-panel drug and alcohol tests on-site or as a mobile service. The Fayetteville-based company serves all federal, state, local, non-profit and for-profit entities who seek to comply with federal regulations that mandate safe and drug-free environments.  The site needed to establish the company as authentic and capable, and it needed an online booking capability with the ability to accept credit card payments.  We set up the site for online bookings in half hour slots and provided several hours of training to the owner on how to further configure the site's booking software so that as date availability changed, the site could be kept up to date.

A significant proportion of the time Integrated Media Strategies spent with this client - and many of our other clients - is on training.
